Inspired by India, the Orrico range by Habitat has an exotic feel to it. This statement round coffee table comes in gold, silver or on-trend rose gold. Each has a unique texture, made by hundreds of tiny hammer marks that catch the light. Despite the heavy appearance, the table is light to move around. Beware: the metal finish can scratch easily, and requires regular dusting.
This table is so legendary and so ubiquitous it has essentially become a meme (see here for more on this). Designed in 1942 by sculptor Isamu Noguchi, it is widely regarded as one of the most iconic pieces of mid-century furniture ever. Noguchi was the son of a Japanese poet and an American writer, and lovers with one Frida Kahlo (these both count as artistic bonafides in my book). The original design was literally made for the President of The Museum of Modern Art, and its final production version has a place in the museum`s permanent collection. You`ll also be one step closer to a Westworld-approved living room.
Others include hidden storage, drawers or shelves to help keep on top of magazines, remotes and the usual living room clutter.
Sometimes a coffee table just doesn`t provide enough room for your family`s epic spread of popcorn, soda and snacks on movie night. A matching coffee-and-side-table set can be a great way to add a lot of surface space without spending a fortune. This Ashley Furniture Murphy set comes with three stylish matching pieces, so you don`t need to worry about finding side tables that complement your other furniture. The set is vintage-inspired, with bronze brackets and deep, rich-hued wood. It`s neutral enough to fit into any living room, but chic enough to make a statement. The coffee table is 46 inches long, while each end table runs 20 inches side-to-side.
